Damaged Oxy-Acetylene or Oxy-Propane hoses present a fire or explosion hazard. damage to hoses often occurs when hoses are left lying around a workshop floor when the cutting or welding equipment isn't actually in use, often case with the hoses still charged with gasses under pressure. Even with hoses wrapped around the handles of a gas bottle trolley they are subject to damage.
Utilizing Recoila spring rewind reels protects the hose contained within the reel. Upon completion of the welding or cutting operation it is simply a matter of tugging on the hose and it winds back into the reel - quickly and efficiently.
An added bonus is the operator is then near the bottles feeding the reel so can turn off the valves and bleed the line.
